My name is Barbara Horstmeyer and I am the owner of Senior Planning Group, a Life Care Planning. Our firm combines comprehensive care management, elder law and longterm care financial planning.
For 20 years we have assisted families whose loved ones either have had an acute health care change or have a chronic health care need. I know first hand how difficult and challenging it is when a parent suddenly becomes ill and can no longer care for themselves or their spouse . Our care managers, also know as Geriatric Care Mangers are members of the Aging Life Care Association. As Aging Life Care Professionals, they provide answers during a time of uncertainty. Their guidance leads families to the actions and decisions that ensure quality care and an optimal life for those they love, while reducing worry, stress and time off of work for family caregivers. Our Aging Life Care Professionals are Registered Nurses and Master Level Social workers here to be your educator and guide.
Our Benefit specialist seeks to minimize the financial burden created by the high cost of care. We will determine which government benefits your loved one may be eligible for and work with you to obtain those benefits from application through qualification.
