Established in 1997, R.E.A.L. K.I.D.S. offers nurtoring care for Infants and Toddlers, a two-year old Stepping Stones program and a Preschool for 3 and 4 year olds. Our Summer Camp "R.E.A.L. offers outdoor adventures and daily activities for school-age children 5 thru 13. Before and After school care and transportation is available.

How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In my years at the YMCA as Camp Director and Teen Leadership Director I developed a desire to provide a safe, nurturing and learning facility for school-age children, and later in my career, the same for all ages of children. I have over 25 years of experience in child care and education pertaining to teens, middle school and young children.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer part-time and rotating schedules to accommodate the parents with part time employment or fluctuating employment. Our on site meal preparation offers only healthy, low sugar, natural whole grain meals. The classrooms are intentionally kept at low numbers to insure quality time with each child.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Only 1 location presently. Have owned 3 centers previously but have let 2 of them go to concentrate on our original location in Menomonee Falls.

We are located on the corner of Shady Lane and Appleton Ave. in Menomonee Falls. From I-45 exit on County Line Rd. and proceed west to Appleton Ave. and turn left. Proceed south to St. Francis Dr., turn right and our facility is located on the left.
What type of payments do you accept?
We accept checks, money orders, cash and direct bank payments.
Which areas do you service?
The majority of our families are located in Menomonee Falls, Germantown, Lannon/Sussex and northern Milwaukee.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Our company is family-owned and operated by Maggie Smith. The Owner, Assistant Director or Assistant Administrator is on site at all times.
What are your hours of operation?
We are open from 6:00am to 6:00pm.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
The very best compliment is for one of our families to recommend us to their family and friends. It is also very gratifying for parents to tell us that their child loves coming to school.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
I have many, I love the messages that are sent by quotes. The quote we have painted on our entrance wall is: "Today I am a Child, and my Work is Play.
